We supply PA and mobile disco entertainment aimed primarily at events such as school fates, fairs and festivals.
We have a range of equipment and solutions available to suit your needs for out door PA. The two main solutions are listed below. However, please feel free to contact us with your specific requirements.
Music PA
Best suited to be operated from a covered stage or covered raised area, our sound system can be used for public announcements and is very well suited to background or foreground music and entertainment.
Central PA Tower
Our long throw horn speakers are ideally suited to events where vocal announcements are the primary use. Background music can be played through these speakers, but the sound quality for music reproduction is poor.
By placing a single speaker tower centrally at your event you cut down on the amount of echo, and reduce the distance the sound has to travel which means clearer announcements.
Primary and Secondary Echo
Primary Echo: If you have more than one sound source, a person stood closer to one source than the other will hear the closest source first, after a short delay hear the second as an echo. The delay will vary depending on distances.
If 2 sources are close together (say within 10 meters) the time delay will be short enough not to create any perceivable echo.
If you use more than 2 sound sources more primary and secondary echo can occur. However, by carefully directing each speaker on a tower towards a specific location, preferably angled towards the ground or towards soft structures the echo can be reduced. This is helpful when it is necessary to use multiple sound towers.
Secondary Echo: Is simply the sound that bounces of surrounding structures. Hard structures such as buildings tend to reflect more sound, while soft structures such as foliage absorb most of the sound and produce very little echo.
