We believe DJs should dress appropriately for the occasion they are attending this is why we have developed a dress code for the various events we attend.

We take sound quality very seriously. We only use ‘Theatre and Touring’ grade speaker systems and high quality sound processing equipment and cabling.

Our music file storage of choice is the FLAC audio format.

FLAC is a professional, loss-less format used by studios around the world, it retains the full quality of the original recording.

A Brief History...

Launched in 1992 Streetbeat Disco was created with the aim of providing a better quality of mobile disco entertainment.

Our emphasis of only buying high quality professional sound and lighting equipment, combined with Gary Carter’s DJing experience saw Streetbeat quickly became a popular choice for event and party organisers in and around Devon.

Streetbeat and DJ Gary Carter fast became one of the leading names in mobile disco entertainment in the Southwest, providing entertainment to the area’s top hotels and venues.

Over the years DJ Gary Carter has performed at 1000s of Weddings, Dinners, Proms, in night clubs and even appeared on national television with the likes of Richard Bacon and Johnny Vaughan.
